SECURITY PERSONAL PREVENTED PRESIDENT BUHARI AIDE FROM U.N. GENERAL ASSEMBLY

President Muhammadu Buhari arrived in New York today to attend the UN General Assembly's seventy-third session (UNGA73), officially opened on September 18, 2018.


As reported by Washington journalist Simon Ateba, Ambassador Yahya Lawal, Deputy Special Representative for Foreign Affairs and International Relations, and prevented him from entering the UN General Assembly after Estonian Minister, Mr. Jeffrey Unyama to come in.


He wrote on his Facebook page:

"Security has stopped the Nigerian Lawal ambassador, to help President Buhari access to the UN General Assembly, has been granted permission from the Foreign Minister to come in. However, Ambassador Lawal is still out there.


Security officials probably prevented President Buharis from being a member of the UN General Assembly


It is expected to be reinstated by the President of the Nigerian National Declaration, confirmed the nation's commitment to peace and security, sustainable socio-economic development. disarmament and nuclear disarmament empowerment of women; rule of law and human rights changes, among other things.
