The American basketball team, the son of Shaquille O'Neal, will undergo heart surgery.
Sheriff O'Neill, a men's basketball player at the University of California, Los Angeles, said on Friday he would be out of the New Year season because of a "serious heart problem" requiring surgery.
The 18-year-old basketball star told TMZ Sports in a video interview that an unquestioned question had been discovered by UCLA doctors and would require surgery. However, he said the injury was not a career and he hoped to return to the Bruins stadium in the future.
Perhaps one of those moments in court was my last breath, "O'Neill later wrote on the Intergram website. "I want to thank God for caring for me, and I want to thank UCLA, my colleagues, and above all my family ... this is just a small obstacle on the road and I must lead it."
The University of California Los Angeles basketball team has confirmed that O'Neill will have a red medical season, but will continue to register during the 2018-19 school year.
"The UCLA Men's Basketball Program fully supports Sharif and his family when they face this problem," the team said in a statement.
