ANTHONY JOSHUA REVELS ILLNESS AHEAD OF DONTEY FIGHT

Anthony Joshua felt like a windstorm had succumbed to his successful defense of his heavy world title on Saturday because of a cold, independent and reported cold.

Joshua can meet Deontay Wilder or Delian White in his next match - and there is also the opportunity to meet Tyson Furry - after clinically stopping Alexander Buffettin to keep his titles heavyweight IBF, WBA and WBO.

But fatigue of the head means that a 28-year-old fighter was worried that he could not perform at Wembley.

"I was sick last week," he said. "You know when you start thinking about yourself" These bad signs, but I resisted.

"I was surprised last week on Friday, and it happened this weekend, and I think Wednesday will be gone, but I'm getting better on Friday.

"It was still in my head, it was head cold. I felt like a strong wind storm could tear me off and I went to the playground, I thought it could have been another sleep.

"But I felt like this in training and I still play 15 good games so I have a strange man in the ring that will disappear sooner or later, so let's move on."

Joshua seeks an opponent for his birth April 13, 2019 at Wembley - and Barry Hern warned anger promoter Frank Warren that a split 50-50 was unacceptable.
