8.5 billion transistors For Laptop Manufactured by Qualcomm Snapdragon

Qualcomm already has a pair of 2-in-1 laptops and Windows beads shipped with the new 850 processor, but the technical school is already busy with their successor: the thousandth flower (including the 8180 flower). Currently, the excitement is based on the latest WinFuture report, which states that the chip can contain eight billion transistors.

The press agency of the German Technical University does not provide a source (anonymous or otherwise), so we can only assume that this information comes from related persons - if they are correct.

This huge amount of transistors is a long way from the newest smartphones at the beginning of 2018, the Model 845 with 5.3 billion transistors. In addition, the number would far surpass the Apple A12 Bionic and Huawei Kirin 980 processors, each containing about half a billion transistors.

More transistors = more power, but not much more
To justify quickly and consistently, transistors divide parts of PC processors that amplify or replace (ie redirect) electrical signals containing bits of digital information. First and foremost, the many transistors you have, you can measure a lot of information directly.

If Qualcomm's millennial processor with this logic actually contains these multiple transistors, it becomes so powerful that some of the best chip designers work at all. Add to the current rumors that this chip can have a 15W power supply, the same resistive power available on multiple Intel Core Series processors, and you see some very competitive semiconductors.

Qualcomm may have had a difficult expansion of Windows 10 drives, but it seems that the company is using it as a learning opportunity and is deepening the fact that there is still a difference in power consumption between phones and laptops, even though it is decreasing.

Obviously, this platform solves the problems still facing ARM Snapdrags when it comes to emulating the x86 instruction set, which for Windows Intel offers ten application development - its first patent owner and developer - I'm not so eager to see it mimicked.

We can see that Qualcomm is destroying the 1,000-hole loophole structure when it starts, it's expected to occur in December, but there are still many things that should happen to check Qualcomm is a major chip maker in the Windows space.
