Woman sentenced to five years for stabbing her boyfriend to death

A woman who killed her friend after a quarrel at home was detained for five years.

Simone Fergus, 34, was sentenced on Friday, October 5, to Wood Green Crown Court, a five-year prison sentence after being convicted on Monday, October 1, of the death of his fiance Raul Chiriac, 26.

The court heard that the police were called into the house on Sunday, April 15, at 5:58 pm, which they shared at Zenith Close to report a knife-kick. The officers participated with the London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance and found Raoul in the area affected by a single bite of the wound. He was taken to a hospital in London by the London Ambulance Service, where he was pronounced dead later that night.

On Wednesday, April 18, an autopsy was performed in which his death bleed into the lungs after a wound.

Fergus was arrested for murder and charged on Tuesday, April 17. The court heard that the couple had a turbulent relationship and Fergus conceded death.
