Gareth Southgate signs £12m four-years deal to remain as England manager until 2022 World Cup in Qatar

Gareth Southgate, who helped England in the 2018 FIFA World Cup semi-finals, was awarded a new four-year contract, estimated to be a £ 3m contract for Qatar World Cup.

In a statement released by Southgate FA in the afternoon to reveal their latest English team said today:

"I am very pleased to lead the national team in the next two major tournaments, and the work is an incredible privilege and a true honor.

"First of all, experience of how the national team has been something special behind the team this summer, and it's fun to see how far this young team can go in the next few years.

I have to admit the hard work and commitment of my team and players over the last two years. I learned a lot of them and representing their passion and professionalism in England was a source of inspiration for my work.

"In particular, Steve Holland, I like to work until 2022. I would also like to thank Martin, Dan Ashworth and FA's board to support my original nomination."

His assistant Steve Holland signed a new contract until 2022.

Cartin Glenn, FA's CEO, said: "Gareth is exceptionally well-off and gave all the conviction that England can compete at the World Stadium again.

"He is a great ambassador to the organization, our development teams and FA's broader work, but its focus is just the point of helping the team."

"We wish all the best for the rest of the UEFA League of Nations and the Euro 2020 Qualità next year, which obviously gives the exciting view to the final campaigns at Wembley."
