USA BASKETBALL PLAYER SHOT DEAD DURING A FIGHT IN FRONT OF A RESTAURANT

On Friday morning, a 20-year-old US basketball player was shot dead during a match near the southern campus.

Wayde Simms, a Los Angeles basketball player from Baton Rouge, was beaten in front of a subway restaurant that was passing through the South Football Stadium around 3:30 in the morning.

A video from WBRZ shows that many men are fighting in the street in front of the restaurant. A shot can be heard and the Sims can be seen falling to the ground before releasing the other men.

Sims was transferred to a local hospital where he died of his wounds, according to Baton Rouge police.

"We have all been destroyed," said Wade Wade, director of WSU in a statement. "We need your prayers to Wade, to his family, to all of us, we have a broken heart."

Wade said he heard pictures on Friday morning and then went to the hospital. He told the team at 6:30 when they initially planned for a morning workout.

"We want to remember Wade, who was a good person," Wade told a news conference. "In addition to having the best impression about me in the team, he was just an unfaithful person, he kept growing and was just doing a wonderful job of building a bridge with our team, which made it very difficult for all of us and our team." Call him, love him automatically, It was just a joke to be all the time. "
