Lagos Lawmakers Unanimously Adopt Sanwo-Olu as APC Governorship Candidate

Dispute continues over who will become governor of  Lagos APC  members of the House of Representatives unanimously played their weight behind Babagide Sanou-Oulu, one of the contestants on the ticket and the reported person is supported by National Leader APC, Tinubu Bola.

He announced the chairman of the State Information and Strategic Security Council, Odfonmaylaao Tejoso, in a statement on Saturday, September 29th. The statement said that the decision was taken during the parliamentary meeting between legislators held in the house by Lateef Jakande. During the meeting, chaired by the chairman of the House of Representatives, Modashiro Oobac, 36 of the 40 member's where present and unanimously supported the resolution and signed the declaration in which the decision was announced.

"During the parliamentary meeting of September 29, 2018, the Complex Lagos State Council unanimously resolved a resolution that supports the leadership of each candidate giving the place (APC) and the Advisory Council for Governor (GAC) in the Land of Lagos in support of Mr Babajide Sanwo-olu APC as Governor - candidate in 2019 election. The meeting attended 36 of the 40 members are proud of the House of Representatives. "
